I've been making small tweaks and improvements to the
Fundoshi 4 All! blog, trying to make this the best fundoshi-themed site it can possibly be! Now there are larger images, a couple galleries of my personal favorite fundoshi pictures, and a cleaner layout. I've also touched up some of the pages, and tried to streamline things in my own wordy way. If you look hard enough, you can find fundoshis all over the internet -- but I'm hoping the quality of experience here will encourage you to keep coming back, and sharing what you find here with curious, adventurous, experimental souls everywhere!

Ryan, I'm very much enjoying the blog,and everything you've done with it. I've been enjoying pictures of fundoshi-clad bodies for many years, and don't remember what prompted me to search for "fundoshi," on the web, but the name of the blog drew me to it instantly. Not only is it a source of beautiful pictures, but encourages the reader to not just be a spectator, but a participant. I'd seen fundoshi for all of these years, but never understood how they came together, assuming it was complicated and uncomfortable. You, along with the readers of the blog encouraged me to find some fabric and give it a try. I loved the way it looked and felt from the first time I fumbled my way through tying it. Now I wear them most of the time, tying them on almost unthinkingly.
Today I took my first trail run of the year. I've always worn a jock for that kind of activity, but I tried a fundoshi. I was sure that it would work its way loose, so when I got to the top of the mountain I stopped to readjust it. Aside from the pouch sliding a little narrower to accomodate the movement of my legs, it was exactly as I had wrapped it before taking off. Beyond that, it breathes much better than a jock; a moment's thought leads to the realization that the mesh of a jock consists of strands of cotton (or worse, synthetic) wrapped around a string of rubber, which breathes about as well as a radial tire. By the time I finished I was soaked with sweat, but the irritation around the edges of the pouch that I've become used to wasn't there, nor was the chafing between my butt cheeks. I'm sold. I'm ordering a bunch more fabric and fully expect that my underwear collection will get smaller and smaller over time. My fellow readers have shared a great deal of their experience as well, forming a fun community of like-minded folk.
I've not seen another website or blog that even approaches the comprehensiveness of the subject as this one does, nor is there another place for the sharing of experience with others, not to mention original fiction. I find myself checking daily for new entries, or to check on the most recent comments on prior entries. Keep up the excellent work, Ryan!
I can't pretend, nor should I, that I am anything but erect after seeing these photos. Anyone else in the same state?
Hey GearGuyNY, thank you so much for the comments and the positive feedback! This is a labor of love for sure, and I'm really glad you found it. I had seen fundoshis for years too, but had no clear picture of what they were. I've always had a thing for loincloths, and this mysterious Japanese wrap had everything visually that I wanted in a loincloth. Finally, one day I got curious enough to really DIG for some information. Most of it was in Japanese, which I can't read, so much trial and error (mostly error) was involved in me finally puzzling out how to tie a fundoshi. I wasted a lot of fabric, but I had a pretty good time and frequently got overstimulated!
Finally, I got it. And it looked great! I posed for myself in the mirror in a crisp white fundoshi, getting used to the braided fabric against my anus and perineum, flexing, and getting pretty turned on too. I still remember the cum dripping down the mirror after I finally released my throbbing self from my first proper fundoshi and gave myself over to my arousal.
It wasn't ALL sexual, though. Wearing fundoshi is great for activity, as you discovered on your run. At the 1976 (I think?) Boston marathon, the Taiko group Za Ondekoza ran the entire marathon, them immediately stripped down to fundoshi, jumped up on a stage and performed a thunderous taiko drumming performance! I found fundoshi great for swimming, working in the yard, running, and any other activity where you might wear a jock. You can even fit a cup between the two layers of the front pouch, though it's possible for that to slip out... kinda hard to explain when your cup falls out of your shorts in the middle of a soccer match or a game of volleyball!
