So the fundoshi in the 6th photo from top is quite a bit larger and more bulky. Is there some significance to its sizing? Or just a regional or personal preference?
The sumo loincloth, mawashi, is similar in basic format to fundoshi but it is a much wider cloth folded over itself several times before it is tied.
