Happy New Year from Fundoshi 4 All!

Happy New Year! If you're like me, you're ringing in 2012 wrapped up snug in a pure white fundoshi. The more sake, champagne, or beer you drink the better the cloth feels. The snugness begins to get quite stimulating. You catch a smile from across the room... maybe they're wearing fundoshi too?

Every day, more people try a fundoshi on. A new year means new possibilities, and the potential to achieve dreams. Just getting started is the hardest part of anything, so let's all start. That's a simple enough resolution -- let's start being better people! And let's dress for success from the first layer outward.

I'm starting the New Year in a white fundoshi with a pledge to wear either fundoshi or nothing at all in 2012. All other underwear was put away yesterday.

Happy New Year! I enjoy wearing fundoshi a coouple of times a week and I love it but I have a question: does anyone find that the hair around their anus gets irritated and do they shave of remove the hair from that area?

This year I started with my fundoshi. I dismiss only red loinclothe and wear this alternatively underwear (for us occidental men). Happy New Year to all fundoshi users.

I love to wear my fundoshi. I have a really smooth hole so no problem with irritation. Try shaving your hole good luck

re: the irritation problem, I can think of two things that might help: first, when you are putting on your fundoshi, try spreading your ass cheeks slightly as you pass the cloth between your legs (it'll keep the hairs from getting wound up in the cloth); second, maybe experiment with different fabrics -- it seems like coarser or heavier fabrics give more chafing issues overall, lightweight fabrics are more comfortable, breathable, and easier to forget you are wearing anything at all!

This is the issue that I thought would give me problems when I first tried a fundoshi but I have found not only do I get no irritation at all but that the sensation is quite pleasant. The light, gauze fabric is the most pleasant with the "not there" feeling but I have not had any problems with any fabric to date.

OK, you've all convinced me. The next time I'm near a fabric store I'll look for something suitable and try out a fundoshi. I hope I like it as much as you do!

Awesome! I hope your experience is good. Let us know how it turns out.

You should definitely shave. Use the Norelco Bodygroom, no ingrown hairs from using it. The fundoshi will feel much better with a smooth crack!
